The Creativity Focusing Studio Time is an intro to the various forms of Felt Sense Arts engagement

We want you to know that the Creativity Focusing Studio is a safe place. We believe that fully engaging with your artwork in a community setting and learning from the Felt Sense is key to nurturing your inner artist and soul

 

What is Creativity Focusing Studio Time?

Creativity Focusing Time is a time for coming together. This is an opportunity to receive support for your artistic self-expression in a Focusing-informed way. Through Focusing and the studio community, you will find peace, joy, and a deeper connection to yourself

We invite you to focus on your own well-being. You will receive inspiration and guidance on how to engage in art activities from the Felt Sense (the vage kinesthetic feeling experienced internally)

You will explore and experiment with different types of intermodal expression stemming from the Felt Sense. You will find moments to pause and take a deep breath in between. Then, you will approach your artistic expression freshly and deepen your experience

Each studio time will include an input on either Focusing or art, which will be announced in the monthly Studio notifications

 

Time: Fridays 1 x / month, @3:00 pm - 4.30 pm EST / @8:00 pm - 9.30 pm BST

Duration: 1,5 hours (2 learning units)

Zoom: No waiting room, you have direct access and can settle down

Tickets: € 20 Eur ticket European participants and € 25 for US/Canadian participants (due to transfer fees). Take advantage of the FOCUSZART Studio Time bundle!

Tickets are still available to purchase on studio day up to one hour before the start time!

You will receive your FOCUSZART Studio Time confirment and a PayPal invoice

when 4-6 participants have signed up. Please pay AFTER getting the invoice!

If you have paid but are unable to attend, please email us at least 24 hours before the event

How to Get the Most From It

Zoom Space: Please check in 5-10 minutes before the start time to get settled

Set up your art table: Bring your favorite art supplies and transform your desk into an art table. Remove items that remind you of office work

Close all open browser tabs except Zoom on your computer, laptop, or tablet, and turn off your cell phone to help you stay focused

Place an item associated with well-being on your art table to create a sacred space and support you as you set your creative intention. Suggested items include a candle, flower, plant, power animal symbol, or crystal

All Art Supplies Are Welcome

List of Art Supplies:

  • 2 A4 sheet of paper (any quality, can be printer paper, to be glued together) or a sketch pad or your art journal book
  • colored pens or sharpy markers
  • 3-10 of your favourite water colours or water paintable crayons (dry media like oil pastels work as well for our purpose)
  • jar with water, paint brushes, tissue

 

Optional:

  • some collage material
  • glue stick
  • tape
  • scissors
  • old credit card for flatten glued down collage pieces
  • if it’s available for you: white gesso or white acrylic paint – it’s also fine without!
